Gates of Valhalla is an exciting new entry point for players into the world of Shadows of Brimstone! This Adventure Set features a group of Viking Heroes setting out on an expedition into the frozen North, where Darkness covers the land and creatures of myth and legend terrorize the countryside. With a full Narrative Campaign, and a host of new Enemies to fight, the Vikings build and customize their Expedition Camp along the way, battling the icy chill of the frost giants and exploring shimmering gateways that open into the ancient alien Library of the frozen Targa Plateau.

This Viking-themed Shadows of Brimstone dungeon crawler can be played by 1-4 players on its own, but is also fully compatible with all other Shadows of Brimstone products.

It is the Age of Vikings; raiding, pillaging, and sailing the seas to explore untamed regions of the wilderness. For a hundred years, an Endless Winter of supernatural storms has ravaged the Norse Lands, driving out the men of the North. Now as the storms recede, they leave in their wake a frozen land, overrun with mythic creatures and terrifying demons. Hideous Trolls raid the local villages and towering Frost Giants stomp through the hills, feeding on livestock and unlucky travelers! The sky grows ever darker as Odin and the gods of Asgard seem to have all but forsaken this place. While most flee in terror, some heroic Viking Clans come forward to stand against the Darkness, setting out on expeditions into the unknown.

Shadows of Brimstone: Gates of Valhalla is a fast-paced, Cooperative, dungeon-crawl boardgame set in the Age of Vikings and mixed with Unspeakable Horror! Each player creates a character, taking on the role of a classic Viking Hero Archetype, such as a Jarl chieftain, Huscarl honor guard, Berserker, or Raider. Forming a party of Heroes, the players take their characters into the dark forests of the Norse Lands, overrun with creatures of myth and legend. This Adventure Set includes an 8 part Gates of Valhalla narrative story campaign, but that is only the beginning of your Heroes' Saga. Explore the Norse Lands, overcoming dangerous encounters and fighting savage creatures, while collecting useful Gear and ancient Artifacts to aid in your adventures.

With a robust campaign system, Hero characters can be kept from game to game, earning experience and going up in levels to increase their skills and gain new abilities. The Heroes can also build and customize their Expedition Camp between adventures, spending their hard-earned loot and re-supplying for the next mission.

So grab up your axe, strap on your furs, and gather the war party, the Darkness is coming, and the Vikings are ready to earn their honored place... at the Gates of Valhalla!

General Shipping

All shipments within the contiguous USA are free for any order over $99.99. For all other items, standard shipping prices apply. Generally, orders placed with us will leave our warehouse within one business day. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, an order will take up to three to five business days to ship. If this happens we will be sure to contact you and let you know when your item will ship. Although your item may ship out immediately it may take longer than that to receive your tracking number. Tracking numbers will be sent to you via email as soon as that information becomes available to us. Generally, we will ship all orders via UPS. We reserve the right to use any carrier.

For item over 70 lbs:

Pools, Foosball tables, Air Hockey etc. are shipped via Freight Carrier on a pallet. We will contact you when we receive the order to confirm all shipping information. Once the game has shipped and arrives at the delivery terminal, the Freight Carrier will contact you to set up a 3-4 hour window for delivery. All games are delivered with a liftgate service and the driver will place the item in your driveway.  (They may place it in your garage, but are not required to do so.)

  • Shipments To Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and US Territories

    • We are happy to ship to one of these areas but unfortunately additional shipping may be charged.
